  • parent, guardian and coach education;
  • Amateur, PRO, Team and Endurance Academy services;

  • email, telephone, video-call and approved electronic communications.

SNP’s public website, downloadable resources, inquiries, payments, bookings, newsletters and communication routes are intended for adults aged 18 or over.

This includes adult athletes, parents, legal guardians, coaches, schools, clubs, academies, teams, after-school providers and other responsible organizations.

SNP does not market, sell, contract with or provide website-accessible services directly to children or young people under 18. SNP does not accept payment from under-18s, invite them to submit website forms, permit them to subscribe to marketing, or make downloadable resources available for direct access by them through the website.

All SNP guides, self-assessments, educational resources and paid digital materials are for adult use. They may be used by a parent, legal guardian, coach or responsible organization to support a young athlete where appropriate, but they are not made available for direct download, purchase or use by an under-18 through SNP’s website.

Before accessing a complimentary or paid downloadable resource, users must confirm that they are aged 18 or over.

Where SNP is formally engaged to provide support involving young athletes, SNP may develop and deliver age-specific education, athlete-development content or support materials. That work is arranged through the relevant parent, legal guardian, school, club, academy, team, after-school provider or other recognized organization, and is subject to the appropriate consent, safeguarding, supervision and communication arrangements.

Separate consent forms, booking terms, event terms, safeguarding procedures, payment notices, organizational license terms, order forms, proposals, support-arrangement terms or service information may also apply depending on the service.

4. The information we collect

The information SNP collects depends on how an adult uses the website, contacts SNP or arranges a service.

SNP may collect:

  • contact details, including name, email address, telephone number, organization and general inquiry information;
  • adult age-declaration information where a person accesses a downloadable resource;
  • parent or legal guardian information where a young athlete is involved;
  • information about the relevant school, club, academy, team or organization;
  • athlete details, including sport, age group, training context, performance goals or service needs;
  • booking, payment and transaction-related information;
  • consultation, coaching, course, workshop, camp or event information;
  • organizational license inquiry information;
  • intended-use review information for organizational licenses;
  • implementation workshop and support information;
  • 3-month, 6-month and 12-month support-arrangement information;
  • review-session, follow-up and implementation-support information;
  • cancellation, refund, rebooking, access or service-support information;
  • communications sent to or from SNP;
  • marketing preferences and newsletter subscription details;
  • emergency contact information where relevant;
  • website, device, cookie and analytics information;
  • information voluntarily provided by an adult user, parent, legal guardian or authorized organizational representative.

Where an organization contacts SNP about a Discover Your Habits organizational license, extended license, external-distribution request, implementation workshop or related support, SNP may collect information about the organization, contact person, role, email address, telephone number, intended use, audience, number of users or participants, number of staff or facilitators, delivery setting, sites, regions, countries, distribution plans, implementation needs, support questions and related service communications.

Where an adult client, parent, legal guardian, coach or organization participates in a 3-month, 6-month or 12-month support arrangement, SNP may collect information needed to administer and deliver that support. This may include contact details, booking details, support preferences, attendance information, communication records, implementation questions, progress updates, service notes, follow-up actions, review-session information, practical challenges, and information voluntarily shared during the support period.

Where a purchaser, client or organization contacts SNP about a cancellation, rebooking, refund, access issue, file issue, implementation issue or service concern, SNP may collect and use the information needed to review the request, respond to the issue, manage records and resolve the matter.

Website inquiry forms are designed to collect only limited contact and inquiry information. They must not be used for parent or legal guardian consent, identification documents, medical information, sensitive athlete information or safeguarding disclosures.

SNP does not invite children or young people under 18 to submit personal information through the website, download resources directly, purchase products, make inquiries, book services, subscribe to marketing or communicate with SNP through website channels.

Downloadable questionnaires and self-assessment tools are intended for private adult use. SNP does not collect, receive, review or store completed downloadable self-assessment answers unless the adult client, parent, legal guardian or responsible organization separately chooses to share relevant information with SNP later.

5. Sensitive athlete, health and safeguarding information

Some SNP services may involve limited sensitive athlete, health-related, safety or safeguarding information. SNP collects this only where it is relevant to the agreed service, participation, emergency planning, safeguarding, accountability, education, support arrangement or appropriate coaching boundaries.

Depending on the service, this may include:

  • nutrition goals, dietary habits and hydration habits;
  • food allergies, intolerances and emergency allergy information;
  • medical conditions relevant to participation or safety;
  • medication relevant to participation or emergency care;
  • injury history or current injury information;
  • height, weight, growth-related information, body composition or physique-related information;
  • training, performance and competition information;
  • menstrual-cycle information where relevant;
  • mental wellbeing, confidence, body-image or emotional concerns;
  • support needs, implementation challenges or practical follow-up information voluntarily shared during an agreed support arrangement;
  • emergency contact information; and
  • safeguarding, welfare, complaint or incident information.

SNP is not a medical, clinical, diagnostic, rehabilitation, return-to-play clearance or regulated healthcare provider.

SNP does not provide medical diagnosis, clinical assessment, medical treatment, injury diagnosis, rehabilitation, prescriptions, medical nutrition therapy, clinical dietetic treatment or return-to-play medical clearance.

Where a medical, clinical, therapeutic or specialist concern arises, the individual should seek support from an appropriately qualified healthcare professional. If SNP receives medical reports or clinical documents that it did not request and does not need, SNP may securely delete or return them unless retention is necessary for safety, safeguarding, legal, incident-management or accountability reasons.

6. Children and young athletes

SNP takes an adult-led and safeguarding-first approach to all work involving children and young athletes.

SNP does not market, sell, contract with or provide website-accessible services directly to children or young people under 18. It does not accept payment from under-18s and does not allow them to download guides, self-assessments or digital materials directly through the website.

All public website resources are for adults aged 18 or over. These resources are intended for parents, legal guardians, coaches, schools, clubs, academies, teams, after-school providers and other responsible organizations.

Where an adult chooses to use SNP material with a young athlete, that adult remains responsible for deciding whether the material is suitable and for using it appropriately within their role, setting and safeguarding responsibilities.

SNP may provide age-specific workshops, education, athlete-support materials or services involving under-18s where SNP has been formally engaged by:

  • a parent or legal guardian;
  • a school, club, academy, team or after-school provider; or
  • another recognized organization with responsibility for the young athlete.

In every case, SNP works through the responsible adult or organization. The parent, legal guardian or authorized organizational representative remains the primary contact for inquiries, booking, payment, consent, participation arrangements, safeguarding communication and service administration.

Every athlete under 18 must have initial participation formally approved or authorized by a parent, legal guardian or responsible organization before SNP provides a service involving that young athlete.

Where SNP works directly with a parent or legal guardian, parent or legal guardian consent is required before an under-18 takes part in consultations, video calls, camps, events, workshops or services requiring personal or sensitive information.

SNP verifies parent or legal guardian authority using a consent form and identification. SNP retains the consent wording, the date of consent, the identity of the consenting person, the service or activity covered, and the identification copy used to verify authority.

Where SNP works through a school, club, academy, team, after-school provider or another recognized organization, that organization must have appropriate privacy, consent, child-protection, supervision and communication arrangements in place before SNP delivers services involving young athletes. SNP may request confirmation of these arrangements where appropriate.

SNP does not provide one-to-one, private or unsupervised services to an under-18 athlete. Any work involving a young athlete must take place through a parent, legal guardian or responsible organization and within an approved, appropriately supervised delivery arrangement.

SNP does not communicate directly with under-18 athletes by email, telephone, WhatsApp, text message, social-media direct message or private messaging. Communications concerning a young athlete must go through the verified parent, legal guardian or authorized organizational contact.

SNP will normally manage safeguarding, welfare, service and communication matters through the verified parent, legal guardian or authorized organizational contact. However, SNP may retain, share or act on information without waiting for consent where this is necessary to protect a child or another person, respond to an emergency, address a safeguarding concern, meet a legal duty, report a serious concern or preserve accountability records.

7. How we use personal information

SNP uses personal information to:

  • respond to adult inquiries;
  • provide guides, digital resources, courses and services;
  • manage bookings, payments and service administration;
  • deliver education, coaching and athlete-support services;
  • plan consultations, workshops, camps, events and online sessions;
  • communicate with clients, parents, legal guardians, coaches and organizations;
  • review organizational license inquiries and intended-use information;
  • prepare proposals, order forms, invoices and organizational license arrangements;
  • deliver Discover Your Habits implementation workshops and related support;
  • administer and deliver 3-month, 6-month and 12-month support arrangements;
  • schedule and manage review sessions, support calls, follow-up communications and implementation support;
  • keep appropriate service notes and support records during the agreed support period;
  • respond to implementation questions, delivery challenges and service-support requests;
  • manage cancellations, rebooking requests, access issues, refund requests, complaints and service concerns;
  • manage participation, safety, emergency and safeguarding responsibilities;
  • provide marketing communications where permitted;
  • improve the website, resources and services;
  • maintain appropriate service, consent, license, support and business records; and
  • meet legal, tax, accounting, complaint-handling, dispute-management and accountability obligations.

Where services involve a young athlete, SNP uses relevant information only for the agreed adult-led service, participation administration, consent management, safety, emergency planning, safeguarding, parent or organizational communication, legal compliance or accountability.

SNP does not use a young athlete’s information to market services directly to that young athlete.

8. Our lawful reasons for using personal information

The lawful reason SNP relies on depends on the information involved and the purpose for which it is being used.

Where permitted by applicable law, SNP may rely on:

  • taking steps requested before entering into a service arrangement;
  • providing a purchased, booked, licensed or agreed service;
  • delivering an agreed support arrangement;
  • consent;
  • parent or legal guardian consent;
  • legitimate business interests;
  • legal obligations;
  • safety, emergency or vital-interest reasons;
  • safeguarding, welfare or legal-protection reasons; and
  • explicit consent or another appropriate basis where sensitive information requires it.

Consent for a young athlete’s participation is separate from consent for marketing, recording, promotional media, testimonials, case studies or any other unrelated activity.

Where processing is based on consent, consent may be withdrawn. This will not affect processing already carried out lawfully, and SNP may still need to retain or use certain information for safety, safeguarding, legal, accounting, complaint-handling, dispute-management, license administration, support administration or accountability reasons.

9. How we use cookies, analytics and website technologies

Sports Nutrition Plus uses cookies and similar technologies to operate the website, remember user preferences, understand how visitors use the website, improve website performance and support the delivery of our online services.

The website uses Cookiebot as its Consent Management Platform (CMP) to manage cookie preferences and help ensure that non-essential cookies are only placed where the required consent has been provided.

When you first visit the website, you can:

  • Accept all cookies
  • Reject non-essential cookies

You may change or withdraw your consent at any time by reopening the Cookie Preferences available on the website.

Subject to your consent choices, Sports Nutrition Plus may use services including:

  • Google Analytics to understand website traffic and visitor behaviour
  • Google Search Console to monitor website performance and search visibility
  • Google Business Profile to support our online presence

Google Search Console does not place cookies on visitors’ devices. Google Analytics is used only where the appropriate consent has been provided through Cookiebot.

Sports Nutrition Plus does not use cookies, analytics or tracking technologies to market directly to children or young athletes.

Most web browsers also allow you to manage or remove cookies through your browser settings. Please note that disabling certain cookies may affect the functionality of parts of the website.

Further information about the cookies used on this website, including their purpose, provider and retention period, is available through the Cookiebot Cookie Declaration.

10. Marketing communications

SNP may send newsletters or marketing communications to adults who have subscribed, requested information or where marketing is otherwise permitted.

Newsletter sign-up is limited to adult users and collects only limited details, such as name and email address.

SNP does not direct marketing, newsletter sign-up, sales messages, promotional communications or downloadable-resource offers to children or young people under 18.

Information about Youth Academy services, young-athlete support, Discover Your Habits tools, organizational licenses, workshops, programs, 3-month, 6-month and 12-month support arrangements and related SNP services is directed to parents, legal guardians, coaches, schools, clubs, academies, teams, after-school providers and other responsible adults or organizations.

You may unsubscribe from marketing at any time by using the unsubscribe option provided or by contacting info@sportsnutritionplus.com. Privacy requests should be sent to DATA@Sportsnutritionplus.com.

11. Payments and bookings

SNP uses Stripe for paid downloads, bookings, online courses and service payments.

SNP does not intend to receive or store full payment-card details. Payment-card details are entered into and processed through Stripe’s payment system.

Stripe may process payment and billing information, including purchaser name, email address, billing address, telephone number and transaction details, where required for payment processing.

SNP does not accept payment from children or young people under 18. Purchases, bookings and payments for a service involving a young athlete must be made by the parent, legal guardian, school, club, academy, team, after-school provider or another authorized organization responsible for arranging the service.

Payment does not replace the need for consent, organizational authority, identity verification, supervision arrangements or safety information required before a young athlete participates.

SNP may use payment, booking and transaction information to process purchases, administer bookings, confirm payments, manage invoices, review cancellation or refund requests, resolve payment issues, administer support arrangements and maintain appropriate business and accounting records.

12. Online courses, consultations and communications

SNP may deliver online courses, learning modules, video calls, consultations, coaching sessions, webinars, implementation workshops, review sessions, support calls and other education or support services using approved digital tools.

At launch, SNP does not operate user accounts, user profiles, learner logins or a backend participant-registration system. Where adults purchase courses, downloads or services, the relevant information is handled through the applicable payment, booking, delivery or communication process.

SNP may use Gmail / Google Workspace for email, Google Meet for online consultations, video calls, implementation workshops, review sessions or support calls, Google Calendar for bookings or appointments, telephone for adult inquiries and a dedicated business WhatsApp number for limited general inquiries and ordinary administration.

SNP may use email, telephone or video calls to support organizational license administration, intended-use review, implementation workshops, training discussions, 3-month, 6-month and 12-month support arrangements, service-support questions, delivery challenges, cancellation requests, rebooking requests and access or file-delivery issues.

Support communications may include review sessions, implementation support, follow-up questions, delivery challenges, service notes, scheduling, rebooking and practical support within the agreed service scope.

Support communications involving young athletes remain adult-led and must go through the parent, legal guardian or authorized organizational contact.

General service, booking, cancellation, support-arrangement and organizational license communications should be sent to info@sportsnutritionplus.com. Privacy requests should be sent to DATA@Sportsnutritionplus.com.

Google Forms are used only for general inquiries or low-risk contact information. They must not be used for parent or legal guardian consent, identification documents, athlete health or safety information, sensitive athlete information or safeguarding information.

Google Drive may be used for non-personal working documents or resources only. SNP does not use Google Drive to store personal information.

WhatsApp must not be used for direct communication with under-18 athletes. It must not be used for identification documents, sensitive athlete information, medical details or safeguarding disclosures, except where urgent emergency information is received unexpectedly.

WhatsApp is not the correct route for formal cancellation notices, privacy requests, license administration, support-arrangement administration, consent documentation, identification documents, sensitive athlete information or safeguarding disclosures.

At launch, SNP does not record online sessions as a standard operating practice. If recording is introduced later, SNP will provide appropriate notice, obtain any required consent and update its privacy wording and procedures before doing so.

13. When we share information

SNP shares personal information only where this is necessary for an agreed service, a legitimate operational purpose, payment processing, license administration, support administration, service support, legal compliance, safety, emergency response, safeguarding, complaint handling or accountability.

This may include sharing information with:

  • payment providers;
  • website, hosting and technology providers;
  • email, communication and video-meeting providers;
  • booking, calendar, digital-resource and online-course delivery providers;
  • professional advisers;
  • legal, regulatory or public authorities where required;
  • emergency services or safeguarding authorities where necessary; and
  • parents, legal guardians, schools, clubs, academies, teams or organizations where relevant to the agreed service.

Where SNP works with a young athlete through a school, club, academy, team or other responsible organization, SNP shares only the information needed to arrange, deliver, support, safeguard or account for that service.

Where SNP works with an organization under an organizational license, SNP may share relevant service, booking, implementation, support, invoice or license information with the authorized organizational contact or other approved organizational representatives where necessary for the agreed service.

SNP does not sell personal information.

14. International users and service providers

SNP is based in the United Arab Emirates and may provide services to adults and organizations in other countries.

Because SNP works online and may use international service providers, personal information may be processed by systems or providers located outside the country where the individual is based.

This may include payment systems, website providers, email systems, analytics tools, online meeting platforms, booking tools and digital-resource, course-delivery or support-delivery systems.

SNP will consider applicable mandatory privacy, child-protection, consumer, marketing, cookie, payment and online-service requirements where relevant to the country, service type, age of the individual, sensitivity of the information and method of delivery.

15. How we protect information

SNP uses practical and proportionate measures to protect personal information against unauthorized access, misuse, loss, inappropriate disclosure or unnecessary handling.

These controls include restricted access, need-to-know handling, password and access controls, secure local storage arrangements, separation of high-risk records, encryption for local high-risk records, secure storage of devices and a process for responding to suspected loss, theft, unauthorized access or data breaches.

High-risk records, including parent or legal guardian consent records, identification copies, sensitive athlete information and safeguarding or incident records, are stored locally on an SNP-controlled laptop and encrypted external hard drive.

SNP does not use Google Drive to store personal information.

No system can guarantee complete security. SNP’s approach is to collect only what is needed, limit access, use controlled storage locations and apply heightened protection to children’s information, sensitive athlete information and safeguarding records.

16. How long we keep information

SNP keeps personal information only for as long as needed for the purpose for which it was collected or received.

This may include keeping information for service delivery, bookings, payments, accounting, tax, legal obligations, consent evidence, safeguarding, safety, emergency planning, complaint handling, dispute management, incident management, audit and legitimate business records.

SNP may retain organizational license records, intended-use review information, proposals, order forms, invoices, implementation workshop records, 3-month, 6-month and 12-month support records, support communications, review-session information, cancellation requests, refund discussions, access issues and service-support records for as long as needed for service delivery, license administration, support administration, accounting, dispute management, legal protection, audit, safeguarding, accountability or legitimate business records.

Consent and parent or legal guardian verification records may need to be retained for safeguarding, accountability, service-management, complaint-handling or legal reasons.

Sensitive athlete, safety, emergency and safeguarding records may also need to be retained where necessary for safety, legal, safeguarding, incident-management or accountability reasons.

17. Your privacy rights

Depending on where you are located and which law applies, you may have rights relating to your personal information.

These may include the right to:

  • request access to your personal information;
  • ask for inaccurate or incomplete information to be corrected;
  • request deletion where applicable;
  • request restriction of certain processing;
  • object to certain uses of information;
  • withdraw consent where processing is based on consent;
  • opt out of marketing communications;
  • request transfer of relevant information where applicable; and
  • raise a privacy concern or complaint.

These rights are not absolute. SNP may need to retain or use certain information for legal, accounting, safety, safeguarding, consent-evidence, complaint-handling, dispute-management, license-administration, support-administration or accountability reasons.

SNP may need to verify identity before responding to a privacy request. Where a request relates to a young athlete, SNP will normally communicate with and verify the authority of the parent, legal guardian or authorized organizational contact making the request.

To make a privacy request, contact DATA@Sportsnutritionplus.com.
